Paul Rocero

Paul is a Filipino-Singaporean artist whose creative journey began in the vibrant city of Manila. Educated at the University of Santo Tomas, one of the Philippines’ premier institutions, he cultivated a deep passion for graphic design early on. In 1995, he moved to Singapore to pursue a flourishing career in advertising as an art director, bringing with him a rich cultural perspective and a keen visual sensibility.​

Despite the demands of a successful career, Paul remained deeply committed to his passion for painting. Over the years, he continued to create art alongside his professional pursuits, gradually nurturing a more personal and expressive visual language. In 2020, he made the decisive transition to full-time artistic practice, dedicating himself entirely to the exploration of abstract expressionism. His work is characterized by a dynamic interplay of color, texture, and emotion—reflecting both his technical expertise and his evolving artistic vision.
